KVKK Privacy Notice

1. Data Controller

In accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), your personal data will be processed by Megin ("Company") as the data controller within the scope described below.

2. Processed Personal Data

The following personal data is processed:

• Identity information: First name, last name
• Contact information: Email address, phone number
• Professional information: Field, number of clients
• Health and fitness data: Weight, body measurements, workout and running performance, personal records, injury information
• Digital trace information: Page visits, usage data, anonymous identifiers

3. Purposes of Personal Data Processing

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

• Informing about Megin products and services
• Responding to communication requests
• Determining the appropriate service plan for you
• Improving service quality and conducting analysis
• Fulfilling legal obligations

4. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred to our business partners, service providers (hosting, email services), and authorized public institutions in case of legal obligation, limited to the purposes stated above.

5. Collection Method and Legal Basis

Your personal data is collected through forms on our website and cookies, by automatic and non-automatic means. Your data is processed based on your explicit consent under KVKK art. 5/1. Your explicit consent for health and fitness data is obtained via the checkbox presented during registration (onboarding) and is recorded with a timestamp.

6. Data Subject Rights

You have the following rights under KVKK Article 11:

• Learning whether your personal data is processed
• Requesting information about processing if data has been processed
• Learning the purpose of processing and whether data is used in accordance with its purpose
• Knowing third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad
• Requesting correction if your personal data is incomplete or incorrectly processed
• Requesting deletion within the framework of conditions set forth in KVKK Article 7

7. Data Retention Period

Your personal data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all your personal data, including explicit consent records, is permanently deleted. Only a minimal transaction record of the deletion is kept, which is stripped of identifying information once the process completes.

8. Your Right to Delete Your Data

To delete your account and all your data: open the Edit Profile section on your profile page and use the Delete Account option at the bottom. Deletion is irreversible and covers all your health, workout and profile data.
